02-11-2025 – As part of campaigning, I appeared at WSRE’s candidate forum at Pensacola State College. If I recall correctly, Hurricane Sally had just blown through the area and the studio building was damaged with the carpets stripped and ceiling tiles missing. It was quite an experience. The area that this was filmed in was a largish room with a small amount of stadium-like seating. Most of the surfaces if I recall, were black – probably to prevent light reflection. The cameras they used were what you would expect to see on a big three network broadcast. It was quite an experience. Matt Gaetz, who as far I know didn’t debate other candidates made an appearance.
